Ireland is about to get louder. Cavan’s rising alt-rock trio mudd•shovel will release their debut album Little White Hair on November 28th, 2025, marking one of the most exciting new arrivals in the Irish underground rock scene this year.

To celebrate, the band will take the stage for their Debut Album Launch Show on December 27th, 2025, at Benny’s Live Venue in Daly’s Bar, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan. Tickets are €10.

mudd•shovel have carved out a sound that’s heavy, honest, and utterly unvarnished. Built on snarling guitar lines, brooding melodies, and lyrics pulled straight from lived experience, their music walks the razor edge between familiar and feral. Influences flash from grunge and post-punk to modern alt-rock, yet what they create together is unmistakably their own.

Formed through a shared appetite for the darker, dirtier side of rock, the trio bring a chemistry that feels volcanic both live and in the studio. Their riffs growl, their rhythms bruise, and their stories linger long after the last note fades.

Little White Hair stands as their first full-length statement, an album that plants their flag deep in the soil of Ireland’s alt-rock underbelly, one riff at a time.
